He is … Read more Ben Touchine (1933-2013) was an American Dine’ Navajo Silversmith. He came from a family of Native American silversmiths. He is known for crafting Southwestern silver jewelry. He favored traditional Navajo aesthetics with nugget style stone placement. He specialized in inlay work and favored cuff bracelets and watches. This large cuff bracelet features his inlay work with a bird of jets sitting on a branch of turquoise pieces. The image is inlaid in an oval Mother-of-Pearl shell which is set in a sterling setting that has 14 cabochon turquoise stones. One-of-a-kind cuff bracelet.
