The rectangular top showcases a striking butterfly-matched walnut veneer, selected for its dramatic grain and warm tonal variation. The highly figured surface creates a strong decorative effect while retaining the clean, sophisticated lines associated with British Art Deco furniture of the period.

The top is raised on a pair of substantial pedestal supports, joined by a central stretcher that provides both structural stability and a pleasing sense of balance. The streamlined silhouette and restrained detailing allow the exceptional walnut figuring to remain the principal decorative feature.

Professionally re-polished in our workshop, the table presents beautifully, with the restored finish enhancing the depth, colour and natural figuring of the walnut.

Generously proportioned to accommodate up to six diners, this is an elegant and highly usable example of 1930s British Art Deco design, equally suited to a period interior or as a statement piece within a contemporary setting.
