The piece incorporates a series of tiered trays that open to form practical display shelves, creating a versatile arrangement for presenting books, decorative objects, ceramics, plants or other collectibles. One of the most appealing aspects of the design is its folding construction. When not required, the tiers can be collapsed to create a considerably more compact form for convenient storage or transportation. The folding mechanism remains fully functional and operates smoothly. A carrying handle is incorporated into the upper section, further emphasising the portable and practical nature of the design and adding to its distinctive Edwardian character. Each tier displays attractive natural oak grain and a rich, warm colour, while beautifully carved friezes along the edges introduce an additional decorative element.
