The chandelier is arranged around a substantial architectural framework with five projecting arms, each supporting a tall candle-form sleeve and light fitting. The arms are enriched with geometric detailing and ornamental mouldings, while decorative polychrome accents provide subtle contrast against the aged bronze surfaces. A particularly striking feature is the tall openwork central structure, formed from elongated geometric supports rising towards an ornamental crown and suspension fitting. The lower body incorporates further architectural detailing and terminates in a sculptural geometric finial. The naturally aged gilt-bronze finish has developed a rich patina, emphasizing the relief decoration and giving the chandelier considerable period character. Its generous proportions and distinctive silhouette make it an excellent statement fixture for an entrance hall, dining room, library or other substantial interior. The chandelier has been restored and updated with wiring and is presented ready for installation.
