Standing approximately 55 cm high, the vase combines substantial scale with richly executed hand-painted decoration. The generously proportioned porcelain body is decorated in the traditional famille rose palette, with vibrant polychrome enamels creating an elaborate and visually engaging composition. The extensive painted surface demonstrates the decorative richness associated with Chinese porcelain production during the later Qing period. Its tall form and substantial proportions give the vase considerable presence, while the colourful enamel decoration provides depth and visual interest from every angle. At approximately 55 cm high, it would make an impressive statement piece on a pedestal, substantial console or sideboard, or within a collection of Chinese porcelain and Asian decorative arts. Dating to circa 1850–1899, the vase is an antique Qing dynasty piece, hand-painted and hand-worked in porcelain. The vase retains authentic antique character. A section of the upper rim has historically been reduced following damage; the main body remains in good condition, with general wear consistent with its considerable age.
