The bookcase features two open shelves to the front, creating three practical display levels for books, decorative objects, ceramics and collectibles. The open design provides convenient access while maintaining an attractive and traditional appearance. A useful drawer is incorporated into the base of the bookcase, providing additional concealed storage. It retains its original wooden knob handle, preserving the established character and authenticity of the piece. The bookcase is beautifully carved throughout, with decorative detailing adding depth and visual interest to the rich oak construction and demonstrating the quality craftsmanship evident in the piece. Standing on sturdy square legs, the bookcase has a strong and well-balanced appearance while remaining relatively compact and easy to accommodate within a variety of interiors. Throughout, the oak displays gorgeous natural grain, rich warm colouring and established character, giving the piece considerable warmth and decorative appeal.
