The group depicts an assortment of colourful botanical compositions, including water lilies, irises, flowering branches, chrysanthemums and formal garden scenes. Rich greens, pinks, yellows, reds and purples give the collection a particularly fresh and decorative quality characteristic of early 20th-century botanical imagery. Each print is presented behind glass within an attractive rounded burr walnut frame, the richly figured timber providing a warm and elegant contrast to the colourful compositions. Displayed together, the six works create an impressive gallery arrangement, while their individual subjects also allow them to be positioned separately throughout an interior. A highly decorative surviving set, ideal for a bedroom, drawing room, conservatory or botanical-inspired interior. Sold as a complete set of six.
