The rectangular top provides a versatile surface for a lamp, books, drinks or decorative objects, while the relatively shallow proportions allow the table to sit comfortably beside a sofa, armchair or bed. A single drawer is incorporated beneath the top, providing convenient concealed storage for smaller household or personal items while maintaining the clean and understated appearance of the piece. A practical lower shelf provides additional space for books, magazines or decorative objects, increasing the functionality of the table without compromising its compact proportions. Particularly appealing is the golden oak itself, displaying pronounced natural grain and attractive figuring throughout. Warm honey-golden tones give the timber an inviting appearance and highlight its natural character. Well constructed and presented in good vintage condition, with appropriate signs of age and use consistent with its 20th-century origin. At only 39 cm deep, this is a particularly versatile piece, ideally suited as a side table, lamp table, bedside table or occasional table within traditional, country-house or contemporary interiors.
