The chair features a deeply buttoned upholstered back with gracefully shaped sides flowing into carved mahogany arms. The beautifully figured timber displays a rich, warm colour and attractive natural grain, highlighting the quality of the mahogany. Raised upon elegant cabriole legs, the chair retains its original white porcelain castors, adding both period character and practical mobility. The existing blue upholstery has an attractive vintage appearance and shows some age-related wear consistent with use. The frame remains in good, solid condition with sturdy joints.
