A rare and highly decorative example, the cabinet is finely inlaid throughout with satinwood and ebony stringing, complemented by elegant crossbanding. These contrasting decorative elements beautifully frame the richly figured mahogany and demonstrate the considerable attention to detail evident throughout its construction. Internally, three glass shelves provide four generous display levels, creating substantial space for the presentation of antiques, jewellery, ceramics, collectibles and decorative objects. The striking blue interior provides an especially attractive backdrop, creating a strong contrast with both the mahogany framework and displayed objects. This distinctive treatment gives the cabinet considerable visual presence and makes it particularly effective as a dedicated display piece.
