The table features a beautifully proportioned round top with a clean, understated profile that allows the natural quality of the timber to take centre stage. The mahogany displays particularly attractive figuring throughout, enhanced by a rich, warm colour and established patina that gives the piece considerable depth and period character. Below, the tabletop is supported by a finely turned central column, demonstrating the accomplished craftsmanship associated with quality Victorian furniture. The column terminates in an elegant tripod base composed of three gracefully shaped legs.
