A louis xvi style flat desk in solid oak and oak veneer, fully restored by a workshop.
the rectangular top, framed by a double border of oak veneer with pronounced grain, features a rounded, molded edge. The frieze is fitted with three drawers with metal ring handles, each equipped with a new key made in the workshop; the dovetail joints of the drawers attest to meticulous craftsmanship. The slightly curved, tapered legs, characteristic of the louis xvi style, are surmounted by carved console-shaped corner blocks. The overall color is a uniform honey-gold, with no apparent flaws. The height to the apron is 64 cm. The desk is entirely original in its structure, restored to its original condition; the locks and keys are functional.
dimensions: h. 78 cm – w. 164 cm – d. 84 cm – weight: 60 kg.
