A venetian-style bar buffet, dating from the 1940s, entirely clad in beveled and reverse-painted glass panels.
the exterior features engraved and painted white decorations on smoked mirror: arabesques, star-shaped floral motifs, and a central scene depicting two figures in period costume in a landscape with a palm tree, reminiscent of 18th-century venetian painting. The piece rests on four tapered legs sheathed in beveled mirror, secured with decorative bronze nails. The interior reveals a natural wood frame, glass shelves held by chrome rods, and a chrome-plated metal grid back panel, typical of formal bars. There is some minor wear and localized foxing on some of the original glass panels. The top is new, and the panels on the rear legs have been replaced by the seller's glassworks.
dimensions: h. 90 cm × w. 131 cm × d. 30 cm. Weight: 80 kg.
