The desk is crafted in oak throughout and combines a warm, natural aesthetic with a highly practical design. The desk features two spacious drawers , one at each side, together with two storage compartments incorporated into the lower section . These compartments are cleverly designed with openings at the back to allow cables and wires to pass through , making them particularly useful for computers, chargers and other electronic equipment while keeping the workspace tidy. Part of the main desktop is covered in brown leatherette , adding a sophisticated contrast to the natural oak and providing a practical, durable writing surface. The leatherette section is complemented by the beautifully shaped oak structure and tapered legs. The upper section opens to reveal additional storage, making this an unusually functional piece of habitat furniture. Its clean lines, thoughtful details and combination of natural oak and brown leatherette give it a distinctive late-1980s character while remaining very suitable for a contemporary home office or study. A well-crafted and highly functional vintage habitat desk , ideal for those looking for a distinctive workspace with plenty of character and practical storage.
