Sculptural vintage rattan bowl featuring an unusual elongated, boat-shaped silhouette with beautifully aged solid brass trim. The tightly woven rattan construction is accented by vertical supports and a substantial brass rim, creating a striking contrast of natural texture and warm metallic tones.
Evoking the sophisticated Italian Riviera aesthetic of Vivai del Sud, Crespi, and Franco Albini, the bowl combines organic craftsmanship with refined mid-century modern and Hollywood Regency design. Its rare, low-profile form makes it an exceptional decorative centerpiece or catchall.
The solid brass retains an excellent, naturally developed patina and can be polished to a brighter finish if desired.
