The specimen is mounted via historic slot-head screws onto its original dark-stained, shield-shaped oak wall plaque.

The reverse side boasts exceptional, clear provenance written in elegant German script. It is inscribed with the harvest date of 1899 and attributes the piece to the hunter, Dittmar Siebert. An original aged paper label attached near the bottom identifies the historic town of Fritzlar in Hesse, Germany, alongside a collection or inventory code designated as "No. 22."

The antlers feature wonderful natural texture, heavy pearling around the coronets, and an attractive deep brown patina that contrasts beautifully with the weathered bone. This distinctive piece provides an instant touch of European country estate charm, Black Forest style, or rustic cabin decor.
