This vintage hexagonal pedestal presents a clean, architectural silhouette, rising as a slender, faceted column with crisp, sharply mitered corners and a flat, slightly overhanging top. Crafted from white marble, each of the six faces is clad in a softly luminous stone in shades of ivory, pearl, and warm cream, with a pale golden glow gathering near the upper edge. Fine, branching veins in soft taupe and champagne trace across the surface in delicate, hairline webs, giving the stone a quiet, painterly movement. The polished planes meet in precise, unbroken lines, so the form reads as a single, monolithic piece with a restrained, gallery-ready presence. The surface has developed a soft, satiny patina, with subtle tonal shifts from panel to panel that reflect the natural variation of the stone. The proportions are confident and elongated, lending the pedestal a sculptural elegance that elevates whatever it displays. Timeless yet understated, it offers a calm, luminous foundation for art, botanicals, or a favorite object.
Place this pedestal in an entry hall, living room corner, or library, or beside a window where light can play across the stone. Use it to display a sculpture, vase, bust, or a lush potted plant. It complements Traditional, Neoclassical, Hollywood Regency, Contemporary, and Minimalist interiors. To care for it, dust with a soft dry cloth, wipe with a barely damp cloth, and dry immediately; avoid acidic cleaners, which can etch marble, and wipe spills promptly to prevent staining. The pedestal measures 9.75 inches (248 mm) wide, 9.75 inches (248 mm) deep, and 28.5 inches (724 mm) high. Condition is very good, with a consistent patina, minor surface wear, and no significant chips or cracks. Add this elegant display piece to your collection today.
