Soft blush, dusty rose, and deep charcoal pull you straight into the center of this 1980 Op Art screenprint by German artist Jurgen Peters (b. 1936). Mirrored chevrons step outward in a graduated palette from a single vanishing point, creating real depth and movement on a flat sheet.
Peters was a well-known optical artist of the 1970s, exhibited alongside contemporaries like Victor Vasarely, Yaacov Agam, and Bridget Riley. This print is hand-signed and dated “J. Peters 80” in pencil, titled by the artist, and numbered 235 from an edition of 250.
The muted rose and charcoal palette suits modern, mid-century, and contemporary interiors. It would look great over a console, in an entry, or as an oversized statement piece in a home office. The square 27.5 x 27.5 inch format makes it easy to frame in a simple black or natural wood frame with a wide white mat.
