The richly textured bronze-patinated figure rests on a heavy pink granite base accented with ornate gilt rope molding, giving the piece a particularly handsome and substantial presence.

The elephant is depicted mid-stride with its trunk raised, a traditional symbol of good fortune. Particularly striking is the intricate, lifelike detailing throughout, from the deeply textured, finely articulated skin and expressive eyes to the naturalistic folds of the ears, trunk, and legs. The rich, dark bronze patina features subtle highlights that accentuate the sculptural details.

The contrasting pink granite base, finished with an ornate gilt border, lends the piece an architectural quality and an unexpected touch of classical elegance.

Known for its exceptional craftsmanship, historical references, and sophisticated decorative furnishings, Theodore Alexander has long been a respected name in luxury interiors. This substantial sculpture exemplifies the brand’s distinctive approach to traditional design.
