Artisan-crafted in France, the piece reflects the symmetry, restrained ornamentation and elegant proportions associated with Louis XVI neoclassical furniture.

The table is constructed from solid mahogany, displaying a warm natural grain and deep brown tone. Finely cast gilt-bronze mounts accent the frame and provide an elegant contrast to the darker wood, adding classical decorative detail without overwhelming the clean architectural form.

A distinctive feature is its removable Italian pink marble top. The marble displays soft natural coloration and veining and can be placed on the table for a more decorative presentation. It can also be removed, revealing the mahogany surface beneath and allowing the piece to be styled in a simpler form.

The marble top is supplied as a complimentary gift from us and is not included in the listed value or purchase price of the table.
