Cabinet is on a regal Queen Anne stand with cabriole legs ending in pad feet with a scalloped apron and a stepped molding at the top
This blend of style in a cabinet on stand is Asian influenced traditional or Chinese Chippendale style, a staple for bars and media storage made by high end manufacturers in the 80s who blended European tradition aesthetic with Asian inspired design in these lines.
Pierced and engraved Brass Hardware, corner mounts, butterfly style strap hinges typical of high end manufacturers.
This aesthetic has always appealed to my taste for finer design and furniture that has a stately appearance, and reminds me of what my great grandmother owned in her home. I used it to store my extensive collection of expensive handwoven silk fabrics.

Perfect to use as an elegant elevated dry bar with the possibility of adding a mirror to the back panel and replace the upper wood shelf with a glass shelf for glasses.
