The generously proportioned square top provides an excellent surface for a lamp, books, drinks or decorative objects while showcasing the attractive natural character of the oak. The table is raised upon finely turned legs, creating a traditional and beautifully balanced silhouette while providing excellent strength and stability. A useful lower shelf provides additional space for books, magazines or decorative objects, increasing the functionality of the table without compromising its clean and understated appearance. Particularly appealing is the oak itself, displaying pronounced natural grain and attractive figuring throughout. Rich, warm colour and an appealing aged patina give the timber considerable depth and character. Very well constructed with a reassuringly solid feel and presented in very good antique condition, with appropriate signs of age and use consistent with its early 20th-century origin. Measuring 62 cm square and only 50 cm high, this is a particularly versatile piece, ideally proportioned for placement beside a sofa or armchair. Suitable as a side table, lamp table, occasional table or decorative accent within traditional, country-house or contemporary interiors. Dimensions: Height: 50 cm Width: 62 cm Depth: 62 cm See less
