The open front incorporates four fixed shelves, providing generous display and storage space for books, decorative objects, collectibles or a curated collection. The oak frame displays an attractive natural grain and rich, warm colour throughout, while the traditional pine-panelled back provides an appealing contrast and reflects the practical cabinetmaking techniques of the period. with a depth of just 24 cm, the bookcase has an especially useful narrow profile, offering substantial shelving without projecting excessively into the room. This makes it particularly suitable for hallways, studies, libraries and interiors where space is at a premium.

Presented in good antique condition, with appropriate signs of age and use consistent with its early 20th-century origin. A versatile and highly usable piece of English furniture, equally suited to traditional, country-house and contemporary interiors.
