The skull is carefully modelled to capture the distinctive feline form, with pronounced eye sockets, delicate bone structure and clearly defined teeth creating an intriguing sculptural object with strong visual presence. The combination of the gold-toned skull and polished black marble gives the piece a sophisticated contemporary quality while retaining the darker character associated with traditional cabinets of curiosities, Wunderkammer collections and Gothic decorative art. Compact yet highly distinctive, it is ideally proportioned for display on a desk, bookshelf, console, display cabinet or collector's shelf. It would work particularly well within Gothic, eclectic, industrial and dark-academia inspired interiors. The skull is produced from recycled aluminium, giving the sculpture a substantial decorative appearance while remaining relatively lightweight.
