The chairs feature broad architectural arms, generously upholstered seats and tall backs, creating the strong, streamlined silhouette associated with British Art Deco furniture. Original reclining Art Deco armchairs are increasingly difficult to find, making this matching pair particularly appealing. Professionally re-upholstered in a sophisticated ivory faux suede, each chair is finished with contrasting black piping that sharply defines its geometric profile. The upholstery has also been Scotchgard treated to improve resistance to marks and facilitate everyday care. Both chairs recline from their upright position to a depth of approximately 103 cm, providing considerably greater comfort while preserving their elegant period appearance. A rare and highly decorative pair, equally suited to an Art Deco interior, private cinema, library, drawing room or sophisticated contemporary setting. A matching sofa is also available separately.
