The generously proportioned rectangular top provides a practical writing or working surface while showcasing the attractive natural character of the oak. Three drawers are arranged beneath the top, providing useful storage for correspondence, stationery and other smaller items. Each retains its original brass handles and fittings, adding authentic period detail and complementing the warm tones of the timber. The table is raised upon four sturdy square legs, creating a simple and well-balanced architectural silhouette while providing excellent strength and stability.
