Each coaster is fashioned in a circular baluster form with a substantial gadrooned border worked in relief. The pieces are raised upon circular stepped bases, creating a beautifully proportioned profile while providing stability in use. Designed to accommodate most standard wine and spirit glasses, the coasters combine practical functionality with the refined character of early 20th-century English silver. Both pieces are fully hallmarked for London 1901 and have a combined net silver weight of approximately 182.4 grams. Presented in very good antique condition with minor age-related surface marks and wear consistent with age. There are no noted bruises, holes, damage or repairs, and the pieces remain free from later engraved presentation inscriptions or monograms. They retain a beautiful bright patina and are clean and ready for use or display.
