The substantial cut glass body is fitted with a sterling silver hinged flip-top cover, beautifully hand chased with repoussé decoration depicting naturalistic foliate, floral and stylised motifs. The flowing ornamentation gives the piece the distinctive organic character associated with the Art Nouveau period. The bottle retains its original cut glass stopper, while the hinged silver cover remains secure and functional. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1902. Presented in good antique condition with only minor age-related surface marks. The sterling silver is free from noted holes, bruises or damage, while the cut glass remains free from chips and interior blooming. The piece remains free from later engraved presentation inscriptions or monograms and is very clean and ready for use or display.
