The substantial tapered glass body is beautifully wheel engraved with delicate floral and foliate motifs, accompanied by graceful doves depicted in flight. The finely executed decoration gives the glass an attractive sense of movement and refinement. The silver-plated mount incorporates a hinged flip-top cover surmounted by an ornamental finial. A stylised handle complements the elegant profile, while the thumbpiece is embellished with decorative floral rosettes.
