The upper section is glazed and fitted with three adjustable shelves, providing flexible display space for books, ceramics, glassware, collectibles or objets d'art. The ability to reposition the shelves allows the cabinet to accommodate pieces of varying heights. The lower glazed section provides further display capacity with two additional adjustable shelves, making particularly efficient use of the cabinet's substantial height. The oak displays pronounced natural grain and attractive figuring throughout, complemented by rich, warm tones and an appealing aged patina that enhances the traditional character of the piece.

At only 28.5 cm deep, the cabinet has an unusually shallow profile, allowing it to provide considerable display and storage capacity without projecting excessively into a room. This makes it particularly suitable for hallways and interiors where floor space is limited. Very well constructed and presented in good antique condition, with appropriate signs of age and use consistent with its early 20th-century origin. For easier transportation and installation, the cabinet separates into two principal sections. A matching example is currently available, subject to prior sale, presenting the rare opportunity to acquire a pair for use either side by side or symmetrically within an interior. A highly practical and versatile display cabinet, ideally suited to a library, drawing room, dining room, hallway or sophisticated contemporary setting.
