Each toast rack is fashioned in a distinctive domed Gothic arch form, with five evenly spaced bars creating a refined and practical arrangement for serving toast at the dining or breakfast table. The racks are raised upon four rounded bun feet, providing stability while complementing the balanced proportions of the design. Both pieces bear matching Sheffield hallmarks for 1918 and are crafted entirely from sterling silver, with a combined net silver weight of approximately 141.9 grams. Presented in very good antique condition with only minor age-related surface marks. There is no noted damage or restoration, and the pieces remain free from later engraved presentation inscriptions or monograms.
