The rectangular top is finished with a raised gallery back, adding both visual interest and functionality. Beneath are three drawers, each retaining its original turned knob handles and providing useful storage. The mahogany displays a particularly attractive grain and warm, rich colour, with a naturally developed patina that enhances the table's period character. The lower section is especially decorative, featuring an elegant stretcher joining the supports and creating a balanced architectural silhouette. Four finely turned feet complete the design, retaining their original castors for ease of movement. Presented in very good antique condition, with the minor variations and signs of use expected from a genuine 19th-century piece. A versatile example of English antique furniture, equally suited for use as a side table, serving table, console or decorative occasional table in both traditional and contemporary interiors. See less
