The shaped top provides a practical surface while giving the table a particularly attractive and flowing silhouette. The mahogany displays pronounced natural grain and attractive figuring, complemented by deep, warm tones that enhance the refined character of the piece. A single drawer is positioned beneath the top, providing useful concealed storage for smaller items. It is fitted with decorative brass handles, creating an attractive contrast against the richly coloured mahogany. The table is raised upon elegantly shaped cabriole legs, lending the compact form a graceful and beautifully balanced appearance while reflecting the influence of traditional English furniture design. Very well constructed and presented in very good antique condition, with appropriate signs of age and use consistent with its early 20th-century origin.
