The chairs retain their original black leather upholstery, showing a beautiful natural patina acquired over the years. The leather cushions are held within the distinctive external chrome-plated tubular steel frames. Both chairs retain their individually numbered cassina markings on the frames, including the lc2 model designation, production number, le corbusier signature, and cassina manufacturer’s mark. An enduring modernist design, combining generous upholstered forms with the precise geometry of the exposed steel structure. This piece has an attribution mark,
