Designed in 1970 by the duo vittorio parigi and nani prina for molteni & c, the orix desk is an extraordinary expression of the aesthetic and functional experimentation of the era. A piece of futuristic inspiration, it combines the innovative use of plastics with outstanding ergonomics. The moulded plastic (abs) body in mustard colour incorporates storage compartments, pen holders and grooves designed to keep the workspace tidy and functional. The main body features an elegant transparent glass top in the centre, which visually lightens the structure. It is supported by a sturdy, slender base made of bent, chrome-plated tubular steel, complemented by a crossbar that doubles as a footrest. The molteni company logo is featured beneath the desk.
