We are selling this simple early 19th century sampler. This needlework sampler is English Georgian period. The sampler is signed Elizabeth Goodwin Lloid on July 28th 1808. It also says she was aged 9 years. The needlework has severl bands of needlework alphabet and numbers and an included verse surrounded by a vine. Charming little note about wheat being 24 somethings.
Condition: Heavy wear to the sampler with damages losses staining and discoloration. Some old signs of restoration.
