…. A set of three handmade Christmas stockings cut from an American Star quilt, c.1960, and made into festive holiday decor. Red and white, nubby and softly worn, with quilted stitching, frayed edges, and the toning that comes with age. Each stocking has a hanging loop, an old safety pin, and a white flannel backing.
They are lovingly used, and that is the charm: faded reds, lifted threads, and a patchwork that shows where the quilt lived before it became stockings. Hang them from a mantel, a stair rail, or a peg rail, or tuck a sprig of greenery into the top.
Each approximately 16" H x 6" W. Sold as a set of three. Greenery shown for styling is not included.
