This one is upholstered in cappuccino aniline leather, deep-tufted across the entire inside so the light breaks over it in rows.

Brass nailheads follow every seam, and the turned front legs finish in casters, the period detail that let a chair be swung toward the hearth. The hide is aniline dyed, so the shade varies subtly across the piece the way only unpigmented leather can.

At 30 inches wide it takes a corner of a library or the fireplace end of a living room, and it is the chair guests will not give back.
