Rising more than eight feet and spanning nearly nine and a half, the pine case has the scale and presence of architectural cabinetry. The upper case is divided into eight glazed doors arranged four-over-four, each split by slender muntins into paired vertical panes. Below, four plank-front cabinet doors anchor the piece on a simple plinth base, finished with a flat projecting cornice on top.
Built from solid pine, the case wears an antique white painted finish with intentional edge wear that softens the corners and reveals warmer wood tones beneath. The lower doors keep their natural weathered character, vertical planks showing genuine grain and knots against the painted casework. Small dark round knobs sit on the glass doors and modest ring pulls dress the lower cabinets, hardware that stays out of the way and lets the proportions do the talking.
This is a piece for rooms that need both display and storage at scale, dining rooms, libraries, great rooms, or a generous entry. Style the glazed shelves with stoneware, vintage books, or a collection of white ceramics, and use the closed base for linens, serving pieces, or board games. Pairs well with a long farmhouse table, a slipcovered sofa, or a leather wing chair.
