At 27 inches across and high, the small pedestal offers room for a reading lamp and a novel, or breakfast for one.
Hardwood wears a natural finish that lets the grain do the talking, and the baluster column is turned with the same swell and taper you find on full-size French provincial pedestals - the proportions simply brought down to nook scale.
Set it between two armchairs, beside a bed, or in a breakfast nook with a single cafe chair pulled up. Small tables that are actually built well are rarer than they should be - this is one of them.
