Care Instructions too preserve the value and condition of an antique Moser piece: Cleaning: Never submerge the box in water or use harsh chemical cleaners, as this will strip away the delicate hand-painted gold enamel. Instead, gently dust the glass and enamel surfaces using a dry, soft microfiber cloth.
Metalwork: Avoid aggressive metal polishes on the brass rim and hinge, which can harm the surrounding glass and ruin the original aged patina. Handling: Always lift the box by supporting the glass base rather than pulling it by the lid or hardware.
Condition: antique wear to the gold throughout as photographed.
