A continuous band of prominent circular bosses encircles the cylindrical bowl of this footed glass goblet, projecting outwards in smooth relief. The upper vessel rests on a defined stepped collar that transitions downward into a stout, spherical knop on the stem, anchored by a wide, flat circular foot. Moulded from heavy pressed glass, the piece displays a warm, translucent smoky brown tint that shifts in depth with changing light. The glass thickens markedly around the waist and knopped stem, intensifying the darker amber-grey tones through the solid sections while keeping the upper rim and walls clear and translucent.
Produced in the United States during the 1960s, this style of glassware was widely popularised by American makers such as the Indiana Glass Company. Although frequently linked with the company's long-running King's Crown line, the profile here presents a streamlined mid-century adaptation, replacing traditional pointed arches with clean geometric roundels. Designed with practical versatility in mind, the vessel serves comfortably as a substantial cocktail or wine goblet, a stemmed posy vase for short flower arrangements, or a standalone accent on a sideboard. Standing 15 cm in height, the glass retains a well-balanced profile with a sturdy, stable base. The piece remains in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs visible across the rim, body, or foot. As is typical of factory-pressed American glassware from this era, the underside of the base is smooth and unmarked.
