PETITE Antique English Bookcase Bookshelf Barley Twist Tiger Oak Display c1920.
Direct from England, a charming little antique bookshelf or display, with four shelf levels and classic British barley twist posts.
The beautifully figured tiger oak grain adds warmth and character throughout, and the distinctive barley twist columns frame the open shelves and complement the gently arched top.
The bookcase’s unusually narrow width and depth make this a wonderful size for displaying books, collectibles or treasured pieces, easy to tuck away in any room or nook.
Quality throughout, well built by craftsmen of the period, circa1920.
Measurements: 39.25” Ht. x 16.75” x 8.25”.
The three lower shelves are 15” x 6.75”; top shelf is 15” x 6.0”.
NOTE: All of our antiques are direct from Europe. I personally select each item for its quality, design, and unique characteristics-hallmarks you will always find in our distinctive inventory at Geaux Vintage Antiques…” with all that, why ‘Geaux’ anywhere else?” …
