Beautiful, genuine antique oval serving platter in the classic Blue Willow pattern, manufactured by Allertons, Ltd. in Longton, Staffordshire, England. This medium-sized meat platter features the iconic, highly detailed oriental landscape transferware design in a deep, rich cobalt blue.

The back of the platter bears the authentic blue underglaze Allertons maker’s mark featuring the company's signature crown motif, the text "ALLERTONS / ENGLAND," and the pattern name "WILLOW." This specific backstamp cleanly dates the production of this piece to a window between 1891 and 1912. There is also an incised batch/size numeral visible in the ceramic backing.

This platter is in solid, beautiful antique condition with no structural chips, cracks, or repairs. Expected and desired for genuine earthenware of this 115+ year age, the clear glaze displays an extensive, uniform network of fine surface crazing across the front and back faces. The blue transferware remains crisp and vivid. Please review the high-resolution photos carefully to assess the detailed cosmetic condition before bidding or buying. Normal wear from use and age.
