This is a bespoke made to order piece. Please allow up to 2 weeks for pouring, curing, painting, drying and glazing before shipping. Your piece will have the same base coat but the flow of the glaze will be different since it is a handmade item. I will seek approval before its final coat.
Elevate your holiday mantle vignette or folk art collection with this exclusive, physical original Belsnickle Santa from the studios of Felt So Devine. Standing at 4.5 inches high, this miniature masterpiece is an absolute triumph of traditional 19th-century American craftsmanship.
Artisan Techniques & Finishes:
• The Redware Pedigree: Hand-cast in premium plaster and finished using meticulous, traditional 19th-century Pennsylvania German redware techniques.
• Manganese Tortoiseshell Glaze: Features a spectacular, hand-blotted and dripping manganese wash that achieves a mesmerizing, deep tortoiseshell variegation across the robes.
• Slip-Trailed Accents: Adorned with highly restrained, primitive yellow slip-trailing and mossy green accents peeking through the folds of the historic mold details.
• High-Gloss Luster: Sealed under a glass-like, mirror-smooth high-gloss topcoat that beautifully catches ambient lighting, emphasizing the deep sculptural crevices of the traditional mold.
Dimensions & Details:
• Height: 4.5 inches
• Condition: Brand new, pristine artisan original. Flawless glaze application with rich, deep reflectivity.
