The shoulder is crowned by a ring of upright, pointed lotus-style petals, each outlined in a fine raised edge. Below, a band of stylized, angular scrollwork echoes archaic Chinese bronze motifs and is flanked by small tab-like handles at each side. The lower body is wrapped in tall, overlapping leaf panels, each defined by crisp raised ribs that sweep down to a neat banded foot. A web of fine crazing runs through the glaze and gives the surface a soft, aged depth, while the glossy sheen catches light along every raised contour. The vase sits on a carved, round hardwood stand in a warm brown patina, with a stepped profile and short, curved feet that lift the form. A darkened metal stem rises from the neck to a brass socket and harp, and the weathered tone of the hardware suits the mellow palette of the ceramic and wood.
