A set of two matching fretwork panels, built from fine wooden bars in a pattern of squares and rectangles, with a quatrefoil cloud shape at the center and soft, curved corner brackets. The wood is a dark brown with a worn shine along the edges. Held up to the light, the grid throws a clean shadow, and the curved lines against the straight ones keep the pattern from feeling stiff.
Each panel is 28.5 inches wide and 49 inches tall, and the open frames work as screens, as wall art or as a pair at the head of a bed. Stand them side by side in front of a window, hang them above a console, or use them as a partial divider between a dining area and a living room. A pale wall behind them lets the lines show clearly.
