Combining heavy, brutalist carpentry with masterful religious iconography, these architectural chairs function beautifully as captains' dining chairs, entry hall statements, or striking accent pieces.

Design & Craftsmanship:
Each chair is bench-crafted from solid, thick-cut oak with an artisan-chiseled, adzed finish that lends a primitive medieval allure. The towering, sculptural backrests feature meticulously hand-carved high-relief architectural niches housing representations of Jesus Christ and the Twelve Apostles. Each individual figure features subtle, original polychrome painted highlights that add deep artistic texture and vintage charm. The seats rest securely on stout, square adzed legs punctuated by large, blackened decorative iron-style clavos (accent nails) along the front trim.

Dimensions:
• Height: 59 inches
• Width: 16 inches
• Depth: 16 inches

(Note: Standard Ormecasa dimensions vary slightly by individual hand-carving; please message for exact custom measurements if required).

Condition Report:
Excellent vintage condition. Exceptionally heavy, tight, and structurally rock-solid with no loose joints. The solid oak has aged beautifully, retaining its rich, dark finish. The hand-painted polychrome accents remain vibrant with minor, beautiful age-appropriate rubbing and minor edge wear that only enhances their authentic, historical look. See less
