A charming pair of vintage dark wood side chairs featuring beautifully detailed floral needlepoint seats, gracefully shaped ladder-style backs, and timeless traditional character.
Each chair showcases a rich, dark brown wood finish with gently curved backrests, decorative scalloped upper and lower back rails, and classic legs connected by traditional stretchers. Their elegant, understated silhouettes evoke the warmth and craftsmanship of vintage American country furniture, with styling reminiscent of traditional Tell City designs.
The standout feature is the lovely floral needlepoint upholstery. Set against dramatic black backgrounds, the two coordinating seats feature individual arrangements of soft pink, dusty rose, muted gold, and sage green flowers. Decorative cream-colored braided trim borders each seat, creating a beautiful contrast against the dark wood.
The coordinating but individually patterned needlepoint seats lend the pair a collected, heirloom-inspired character. Particularly appealing for English Country, Early American, Cottage, Traditional, and Grandmillennial interiors.
