In the upper panel, a flowering branch carries lilac, pink and yellow peonies with sage and pale-green leaves. Lower panel shows a bluebird with a russet breast perched atop a branch among white and powder-blue blossoms.

Each panel is mounted on acid-free archival board and framed in solid wood, silver leaf Larson-Juhl moulding made in Italy. Silk being surprisingly durable, they're purposefully not glazed so the silk's weave is viewable up close.
